HDAA Cities & Infrastructure at the IFHP World City Congress in London

In an inaugural presentation by HDAA Cities & Infrastructure Practice, HDAA Founder/Chairman Bernardus Djonoputro addressed the EAROPH Asia Pacific Forum at the IFHP World City Congress held 8-11 June 2013 in London. The inaugural presentation was also presented together with HE Vice Minister of Public Works of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Hermanto Dardak, who brought in the government's perspective on policies surrounding the planning of Indonesian cities.

8,800 Visitor in EHEF 2012 (European Education Fair) in Jakarta and Medan

On Saturday  (November 3,2012) and Sunday (November 4, 2012) there were European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) held in , Thamrin Nine Ballroom Jakarta

EHEF is the biggest European education fair in Indonesia that serves as a facility to accommodate the dissemination of information on Study in Europe as an alternative destination to pursue excellent quality of higher education for Indonesian students and professionals. EHEF Jakarta succeeded in attracting more than 8.800  visitors this year. 

EHEF was also held in Medan on Tuesday (November 6, 2011) at Aryaduta Hotel Medan,  and more than 1.100 visitor This year.

First Anniversary of Papua Cloud

11 October 2012,  exactly one year ago, located at the auditorium of DPTIK (Department of ICT Management) Office of Papua Province, in Soa Siu Dok II Street, Jayapura, the socialization of development work of Cloud Computing-Based Knowledge Centre took place for the officials of SKPD (Local Government Task Force) in Papua Province, for some colleagues of PDE (Electronic Data Center) Offices from some districts/cities in Papua, as well as to the general public. On the same day the name "Papua Cloud" was declared as a popular name which is generic and easy to recognize the results of the work.

Indonesian Transport Delegates Visited ITS Showcase and Conference 2012 in Dublin - Kilkenny, Ireland

On 1-6 October, 2012, HD AsiaAdvisory led a group of major Indonesian transportation stakeholders to visit Dublin and Kilkenny, Ireland. The event was organized by Enterprise Ireland, an Irish Government Body on Investment, to extend the country’s business cooperation with Indonesian counterparts in transportation sector.

The member of Indonesian delegates were Noni Purnomo (Blue Bird Group), Ricky Camelien (Nusantara Infrastructure), Eka Sari Lorena (ORGANDA), Johannes Hasudungan (Lorena Group), Ekowahju (XTrans), Muhammad Ismounandar (Makassar City), Ramdhan Pomanto (Makassar City) and Muhammad Akbar (Transjakarta Busway). Meanwhile HD AsiaAdvisory is represented by Bambang Gunawan, and Marcel Roos who represented HD AsiaAviation.

HD Asia Advisory Leads Business Mission to Dublin

On 2-6 October 2011 HD Asia Advisory led an Indonesian business mission to Ireland visiting Enterprise Ireland to meet their business counterpart. Members of Indonesian delegates are Mr. Bernardus Djonoputro and Mr. bambang Gunawan (PT. HD Asia Advisory), Mr. David Bangun (PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia), Mr Hendro Wibowo (PT Swadharma Duta Data), and Mr Dadan Pahlawan Irawan (PT 4848 Global System).

During this trip, the delegates also met Minister for Trade, Ms. Jan O' Sullivan, T. D.. On October 4th, the delegates had audience with President Mary McAleese at Áras an Uachtaráin.

Bilateral Meeting with Philippine Business Mission hosted jointly by HD Asia Advisory and RAI Group

From 18-21 October 2011, HD Asia Advisory hosted bilateral meeting with Philippine business mission to Indonesia, held in Jakarta in cooperation with RAI Group.

The meeting was taken place at JW Marriott Hotel, Jl. H. R. Rasuna Said, Jakarta, Indonesia. The topic of the meeting was "Exploring Bilateral Economic Opportunities despites the Threat of Global Economic Recession" with Indonesian invitees consisted of friends, clients and networks of HD Asia Advisory.

Indonesian Start-up Companies Exchange Ideas with European Incubators

On March 14th HD Asia Advisory visited Institute Technology Tallaght and was welcomed by their President Mr. Pat McLaughlin who had visited Indonesia last January. After a presentation on how Irish university works together with startups, we toured Synergy Center, their startup incubator. The group then visited University College Dublin's incubator, NovaUCD which has a slightly different concept than Synergy Center. Followed by visiting The Digital Hub incubator. The Digital Hub is an Irish government initiative focusing on digital content and technology enterprises. Dr. Stephen Brennan gave an inspirational presentation on Irish digital media and how Indonesian startup could learn from Ireland startup companies.

The Government of Ireland Explores Opportunities in the Indonesian Tertiary Education Sector

Jakarta, 9 December 2010 – The Ireland Delegation to Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Brunei Darussalam, and Timor Leste made a visit to Indonesia on 1-3 December 2010. The delegation, which was officiated by the current Irish Ambassador HE Joseph Hayes and the Director Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines at Enterprise Ireland Mr. Patrick O’Riardan, met with its counterparts from University of Indonesia (UI), Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), and Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR), to talk potential cooperation among Irish Higher Education Institutions and several Indonesian universities.

New Business Network Establishes to Promote Billateral Trade Relation

Jakarta, 30 May 2010 - The Irish government launched the Irish-Indonesian Business Dialogue Network – a forum to facilitate and promote bilateral relations and trade connections between Ireland and Indonesia – in Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta on May 26, 2010.

The meeting was chaired by HE Richard O'Brien, the Irish Ambassador to Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Brunei Darussalam, and East Timor, and attended by key figures from Enterprise Ireland, other Irish business entities as well as their Indonesian counterparts.

According to O’Brien, the establishment of the network, which would later change into a division under the Enterprise Ireland, hinted more investment be made by Irish companies in Indonesia in the future.

Ministry Research and Technology and Municipality of Wakatobi Launch Biodiversity Research Training
